One of my favorite cities - and an American treasure - New Orleans has suffered terribly in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I wrote some songs for this wonderful city and her even more wonderful people. There is no doubt in my heart that New Orleans will rise above this natural disaster and continue to shine as one of the most incredible cities in the world.

New Orleans may seem down, but she ain't out. Trust me: NOLA will rise again. Thanks to all of you who have helped already. Please pass it on. I wish all of you the very best.
